Store officials confirmed on Friday, Oct. 6 the new store in Shelton will open on Thursday, Oct. 26.
Arielle Abramek, a spokesperson for the company, said the HomeGoods store located at 100 Hawley Lane, in Trumbull, will relocate to 862 Bridgeport Ave., in Shelton.
"We are grateful for the patronage of our HomeGoods customers in Trumbull and believe they will continue to find great value at our new store," Abramek said.
The new store takes over the old Bed, Bath and Beyond in Shelton Square plaza.
"We are always assessing and reviewing our real estate strategies and our decision to relocate this store reflects that thinking," Abramek said.
